Cutie Whale Baby Pool for Babies 1-3 Years Old
A cute, inflatable baby swimming pool that holds a minimal amount of water. Our baby has a blast in this pool and it was only a few dollars!
Summer weather is here and we have been enjoying the great outdoors! Wanting my granddaughter to be able to enjoy the full benefits of summer, I purchased her the Cutie Whale Baby Pool made by The Wet Set.
This was purchased at our local Target store for only $5.00, much cheaper than the other hard sided pools on display, and it is perfect for young children ages 1-3 years. It comes packaged in a very small box, (measures only 6 ½" by 7"), and is inflatable.
When inflated the Cutie Whale Baby Pool measures fifty inches long by thirty seven inches wide and it is only four inches deep. These measurements are the approximate inflated size, since the pool is shaped like a whale. It even has an inflated spout, a small tail section, and graphics printed on the pool floor. These consist of black eyes and a smiley mouth and a pink star. The pool itself is blue with a mainly yellow colored floor.
The Cutie Whale Baby Pool is made of "Sturdy pre-tested vinyl" and holds approximately ten gallons of water. There is a maximum water depth line marked on the pool sides. The pool even came with a handy repair patch in case the pool springs a leak!
Instructions are included in the box, with warnings about how to use this pool and where it can and cannot be placed. It should be placed on a flat and level surface. It should not be used on an inclined or sloped surface. The ground should be firm and free of rocks, sticks, and other debris that could puncture the pool.
My daughter and I absolutely love The Wet Set Cutie Whale Baby Pool. Our baby is seven months old, but she has been sitting up by herself for two months and is very steady. We never leave her unattended and we sit on the lawn next to the pool within an arm's reach at all times. I only put about two inches of water in this pool, enough that she can splash around and play with her bath toys. The tail section is small and could hug a toddler while they are in the sitting position.
Our granddaughter had a grand old time playing in this Cutie Whale Baby Pool. It was well worth the small investment, it inflated quickly and easily, and it is a safer choice for a child 1-3 years of age due to the limited amount of water you can add to the pool. Regardless of how much water you add to a baby pool, never leave a child unattended even for a few seconds. Babies can drown in as little as two inches of water.
Overall, our experience has been a positive one and we have been very pleased with the Cutie Whale Baby Pool.
